Aspiring Quantitative Analyst | Quantitative Finance + Business Analytics Undergraduate at NUS, B.Sc(Hons)

About
I’m currently studying Quantitative Finance and Business Analytics at NUS, where I spend most of my time thinking about markets, models, and math — specifically, how math can (sometimes) make sense of the chaos.
I’ve always enjoyed solving tough problems — especially the kind wrapped in numbers, uncertainty, and just enough structure to be interesting. That mindset has taken me from proving inequalities in trigonometric polynomials to building trading strategies, financial models, and exploring algorithmic research.
Along the way, I’ve gained experience across quantitative trading, venture capital, investment banking, and accounting — seeing how finance works from multiple angles. I’ve also dabbled in programming and data, and co-authored two math research papers published in international journals.
Right now, I’m focused on sharpening my technical toolkit — mathematics, statistics, and code — to tackle real-world problems in quantitative research and systematic investing. In the end, I believe growth comes through challenges — and I welcome it: 金经火炼,人经逆境考验 — gold is tested by fire, people by adversity.
